Often ‘creativity’ and ‘innovation’ are used interchangeably. However, there are fundamental differences. In fact, creativity is an essential building block for innovation. Creativity alone, to come up with ideas, is not enough. Implementation, which is, putting ideas into practice - is made up of three aspects: idea selection, development, and commercialization, and of course creativity is needed here too...

I was born and raised in sunny Gozo, Malta some twenty three years ago....

davi.design [referring to david’s designs]; is a contemporary yet casual inspired freelancer who works on projects that aim for the ‘attention-grabbing’ audience.

Background: I developed my experience as a web designer by working for a company in Dublin Ireland, where I later persisted my studies in Malta. After completing my diploma, I got the opportunity to work for a major company, where I got the chance to team up with remarkable web-related designers and developers. I presently work for a catering equipment distributor company where I design establishment layouts using AutoCAD and other CAD based applications. My current challenge is to successfully manage to design 3D based video walk-through of my CAD drawings without the use of third party applications.
I have currently kept myself busy with photography, where I constantly run around and capture essential fragments of time.

Artillery: Current weapons of choice are Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, XML, HTML, PHP, CSS, AJAX, WordPress and jQuery, although I'm constantly picking up new software, tips and tricks to keep moving with the industry.

My interest is to have an end-user whom enjoys the browse by feeding thou eye.

It's been a rough fucking year, and i hope it gets rougher.... ok, not that rough, i do have a life.

I shall keep this short. I have a few styles I switch between, and one is that of cleaner, brighter… trendier *shudders* web design. I realize not every project needs a giant apeshit illustration of a zebra crying out birds or something. Sometimes you just need a clean UI or a nice presentation for a business site. It’s not my favorite thing to do, but some days you’ve just got to keep the monkey on the tree!

I'm glad my work is being appreciated and people seem to enjoy the end-result. I don’t overdo it in terms of projects... i prefer to work and focus on a single job... This helps me concentrate on one specific design, to give that extra ‘something’ to every project. The only time i accept multiple projects is when i’m low on cash, LOL... which means; constantly :)
